Two
cubs for Shirley
The next step will be to finish the carvings in Dave Shelton's studio
in Idaho Springs. There the carvings will be shaped into their final
form, sanded, finished and detailed, including the addition of glass
eyes, the same as used by taxidermists. As shown in the picture
of the lioness Shirley, the glass eyes add an unusual life like
character.
