oil and pottery. In 2003, the Grier Design Group launched the online
retail store Melting Pot Designs and in May 2006, the Knitting Habitat
- a yarn and knitting boutique opened in Southeast Aurora.
"I
have been creating and designing through art, graphics and interior
design since I was a very small child," say Ms. Grier. "As
it is written, God has an original plan for every human being and I
am certain creative expression is part of the original blueprint for
my life. What is so exciting about the arts is that one does not have
to stay with one medium. You can expand your creative journey to other
artforms such as working with fiber in weaving, hand-knitting, dyeing
or even spinning!"
